Pumpkin Cake

I always get complimented on this cake


Pumpkin Bars

  • Servings: a 9 X 13 Pan full

1 Box Yellow Cake Mix

1 small can pumpkin

3 & 1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin spice

1 can vanilla frosting

6 ounces of whipped cream cheese


Candy pumpkins or Candy Corn


Follow the directions on the cake mix…EXCEPT reduce the water to only 1/2 Cup and add the pumpkin and spices.

Spread into a greased 9X13 pan and bake as directed.

Cool Completely.

Frosting:  Mix 1/2 the can of vanilla frosting with the cream cheese and add as much cinnamon to the frosting as needed.  (Keep tasting it!  yummy!!)

Frost the cake, cut into bar-sized portions.  Add a piece of candy to each portion.  You probably wont have any leftovers…but just in case you do, be sure to keep the cake in the fridge.
