Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies

Oh so good and I shouldn’t be looking at this recipe just before lunch !!


Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies

 Brownie Layer

1 cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon Vanilla

4 Eggs

2 cups Sugar

3/4 cup Cocoa

1 cup Flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon Salt

Tin Foil   /   9 x 13 pan

Cheesecake Layer

16-ounces of Cream Cheese, softened ( Yep, 2 packs)

2/3 cup Sugar   /   1 teaspoon vanilla   /   2 Eggs

2 cups chopped Milky Way Simply Caramel Bites (supposedly 1 bag worth….i bought 2)

HOW TO:   oven @ 350°   Line a 9 X 13 pan with tin foil, making sure it laps over the sides of the pan for easy removal later.

Brownie Layer:  Combine melted butter, sugar and vanilla with a mixer.  Add eggs, one at a time.  Add cocoa, mix well.  Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix until just combined.  Do not over mix this.  Set aside about a cup or so of the brownie batter for later.  Smooth out the rest of the brownie mix in the lined pan.  Clean off your beaters from the mixer and proceed….

Cheesecake Layer:  Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.  Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time.  Pour over the brownie mix in the 9 X 13 pan and smooth over carefully.  Sprinkle the chopped Milky Way bites over the cream cheese layer. (Should pretty much cover the cream cheese layer….that’s why I bought the 2 bags worth…just incase.)  Now use the 1 cup of reserved brownie mix by dropping spoonfuls over the candy bar layer.  Use a knife and gently swirl through the candy layer.  This doesn’t need to be perfect.  Just to kinda hide the candy bites.  Bake for about 35 minutes.  Cool for at least an hour before removing from the 9 X 13 pan.    Refrigerate leftovers.
