Fresh Parsley Baking Sheet Parchment Paper Small Bowl. HOW TO: Preheat the oven to 170°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Take your garden fresh parsley, wash & pat dry. Break off or snip stems all the way up to the leaves. Place the parsley leaves on the parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 35 minutes at the 170° oven. Remove from oven. Once the leaves are cool (for me, it was cool enough right out of the oven), place dried parsley leaves in a bowl. Crush and break up the leaves with your fingers until you reach desired consistency (I left the dried crushed parsley in the bowl for an hour…just to make sure they were “cooled”). Store in air tight container. How to Dry Parsley
I was in a hurry to get 1/4 cup of parsley to finish making my spaghetti seasoning mix ( found HERE ). I didn’t have the time to let the parsley hang and dry out… and I really did not want to do a grocery run for this either. This method seemed to work ! Not sure if this is a cost effective method,…. but since I receive the parsley free, I thought I would try this. (Thanks for the parsley, Deb !!)
