Chocolate Frosting

Well I made this recipe and used it on layered 9 inch cake…even though the recipe said it would cover only a single layer 9-inch cake. hmmm !  For the cake, I made from scratch as well and you can get that recipe   HERE   .

Chocolate Frosting

  • Servings: 9 inch cake or 24 cupcakes

1 Cup Butter, Softened

1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder

5 Cups Powdered Sugar

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

3-4 Tablespoons Milk  (I used 4 )

HOW TO:

Whip the butter and cocoa until smooth.  Add the Vanilla.  SLOWLY add all that powdered sugar and continue whipping until light, fluffy and smooth. (2 minutes, at least…( I whipped it for 4.)

Boom Done.  Go Frost something !

Best compliment EVER…  Hubby says to me after taking a bite of this cake…

” Betty Crocker has nothing on you”.
