Can it get any easier ?! I have some canned pineapple that I wanted to use up, but wasn’t sure what to make. I don’t think hubby dearest likes pineapple in a “dessert – type” recipe of ANY kind. Well, except for Hawaiian Pizza and last time I checked, pizza isn’t considered “dessert”…but that’s a story for a different time 🙂 … But I was so determined to include pineapple in something he’ll eat. So here we go….
Sweet Meatballs with Pineapple
Frozen meatballs (I used half of a 32-ounce bag prepared meatballs (NOT ITALIAN SEASONED)
about 2 cups of your favorite bar-b-que sauce
1 20-ounce can of pineapple chunks WITH THE JUICE
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Dump everything into the crock pot in the morning. Give it a couple stirs with a big spoon. Turn setting to low. Come home after 6 hours or longer to enjoy your meatballs. I served mine with a portion of rice and a side of veggies.
