Chili
2 pounds Hamburger
2 chopped onions
4 minced garlic cloves
2 Tablespoons chili powder (or more to your preferred taste)
2 Teaspoons salt (I recommend starting with 1 teaspoon and then you can add more if needed)
4 – 14oz cans stewed tomatoes
1 – 15oz can tomato sauce
1 – 15 oz can kidney beans WITH liquid
handful of macaroni noodles (optional) I’ve also thrown in vegie leftovers: corn, green peppers, ect.
HOW TO
Brown hamburger, onion and garlic. Drain fat. Add everything EXCEPT kidney beans (or any leftovers you are gonna dump in). Simmer for one hour. Stir in kidney beans and liquid. Simmer an additional 20 minutes…(or until noodles are tender). Remove from heat and let it sit 5 minutes.
