Sausage & Kraut Potatoes
2 14-ounce cans of sauerkruat undrained.
5 – 6 potatoes, peeled & cut up
1 cup water
2 polka kielbasa sausages, cut into bite size circles
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon pepper
HOW TO:
in a crock pot, add potatoes.
in a medium bowl, combine water, sauerkraut, caraway seeds and pepper. mix well. pour over potatoes.
Add sausage.
cook on low setting 6-8 hours. Skim off the sausage, and using a potato masher, mash the potatoes 5 – 8 times. Return sausage to top.
Easy enough!
