Asian Beef and Rice Skillet

  • Servings: 4 - 6 people, supposedly..unless you're super hungry, then it would be a 2-person meal..... just sayin

 1 pound hamburger

1 cup rice

3 cups beef broth

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

black pepper to taste

1 cup frozen peas, thawed

HOW TO

simple enough,  brown hamburger.  Drain fat. Add everything else EXCEPT those peas.  Bring to a boil.  Reduce to a simmer.  Simmer until the rice is tender.  Add peas.  Simmer for about 2 minutes more. You may need to add a bit more broth or water if the dinner gets to dry.   Boom, Done !
