Korean Beef Bowl
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Sesame Seed Oil
1/2 Teaspoon crushed Red-Pepper Flakes, or more to taste
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
3 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 Pound Hamburger
2 Green Onions, thinly sliced
Cooked Rice, for serving
HOW TO
In a small bowl, whisk a sauce mixture containing: brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes & ginger. set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in large skillet & add garlic. Cook for 1 minute. Add hamburger. Combine and cook. Be sure that the hamburger is crumbled into small pieces. When cooked through, drain fat. Add the sauce mixture & green onions. Combine & simmer until heated through. Serve with rice.
