1 pound hamburger or 2 cooked chicken breasts, chopped
Taco seasoning ( I make my own taco seasoning mix and you can obtain that recipe HERE
Taco shells or tortilla shells, whichever you prefer
cheese, grated… I use a medium cheddar
a tomato, chopped
some lettuce, shredded
a small can refried beans
some sour cream
small amount of salsa
if using hamburger, fry it, drain fat. add taco seasoning and whatever the packet tells you to add. (usually just add a bit of water). If using chicken, just chop up the already cooked chicken, put in fry pan and add taco seasoning and whatever the packet tells you to add. (usually just add a bit of water).
heat up the refried beans in a small sauce pan
Set out portions of the ingredients to add to your taco as you like.
