1/2 small onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound hamburger
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon dijon type mustard
1 & 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 & 1/2 tablespoons dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
26 ounce jar/can of your favorite garden style spaghetti sauce (i use Ragu- old world traditional/original)
8 ounces of shredded mozzarella cheese
fry up the onion, garlic & oil till translucent. Cool to room temp.
set oven at 350°
In a large bowl, combine everything EXCEPT cheese and sauce.
Shape into about 20 2-inch meatballs.
Line a 9X13 pan with tin foil & place meatballs into it. Bake 25 minutes. Remove. Pour sauce over meatballs. Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer. Remove. Let stand 4 minutes before serving.
I serve mine with a side of pasta.
