Honey Garlic Meatballs

Honey Garlic Meatballs

3 tablespoons Brown Sugar

1/3 cup Honey

1/2 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons Soy Sauce

3 cloves Garlic, minced

28-ounce package of fully cooked frozen meatballs (NOT ITALIAN SEASONED)

salt & pepper to taste, if necessary

sesame seeds (optional)

chopped parsly (optional) (substitute with cilantro)  I used a combo of both

HOW TO

  1. Use a large bowl, combine: brown sugar, honey, ketchup, soy sauce and minced garlic. Add the meatballs.   In crock pot, cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add salt and pepper if needed. If desired, top with sesame seeds, chopped parsley or cilantro. Serve as an appetizer or main dish over rice or as a sandwich.

Mine were a bit over cooked.  However, the flavor was wonderful.  I used a 32 ounce bag of meatballs and doubled the ingredients.  I’ll make them again, but just not do it in a crock pot.  I’ll use a fry pan.

Any Comments ?
